About Us

Zion Christian University is an undergraduate school of theology located in Clearwater, Florida. This area, situated on the western peninsula of Florida on the Gulf of Mexico, is a beautiful resort area known around the world. Literally translated “Clear Water" from the native Indian word “Pocotopaug", this area was named for its abundant fresh springs along the shore.

ZCU provides programs of study through distance education to students around the world. At ZCU we are committed to providing a quality education with sound teaching that not only endeavors to equip students to be leaders, but also seeks to impart a spiritual vision that will cause students to press toward the mark of God’s high calling, which is to come to spiritual Mt. Zion, the place of God’s blessing and presence.
